This is the year 2600. The wolves have now become the leaders of the land, and reign over everything here in what used to be called Canada, North America. The humans are all gone, dead from their own wastefulness.
The wolves have separated into three packs: The Skira'ka, The Mahigan, and The Abashi. It's like the world has started over. Will you survive?

Oasis Winter
walked around my good [ i n t e n t i o n s ] and found out there were none.

Soft, leathery pads scuffled forward quietly, the air getting warmer as the female emerged from the dens she had been staying in. She had been here a week, scouting around, making sure this territory was unclaimed, in short, it wasn't claimed. Yawning slightly, she dropped into a play-pouncing pose and stretched out her stiff and tired muscles, the sleep was anything but comfortable last night with her stressing over her task today. Shaking out her fur, she looked around once more, and then proceeded to head over to a large boulder/rock that was protruding from the ground and pointing up and to the side about... two or three meters. There were ' steps ' leading up to the top, and she climbed up the carefully, making sure none of the stone-steps would give out under her weight.
Once at the top, she surveyed the area quickly, pleased with the slightly high view, this could be the rock she called meetings at, of sorts. Oasis always had to have every little detail planned out, it made her happy and relaxed, which generally meant for a better Alphess. Speaking of Alphess, she better figure out if she wanted to claim this land. It was kind of a big thing, was she ready so soon after being chased away from her own pack? Sighing sadly at the memories, she had a quiet moment of reflection, going through all of the great things she had done and organized for her pack. It had all moved smoothly, hunts, meetings, getting problems solved and they even went for the mating and birthing plan she had set out for them to follow. They all had loved her, all before those territorial bastards came and ruined it all.
That was it, that had been her problem, she hadn't set up a good fighting force for them because well.. they had been a peaceful pack, they hadn't needed it at the time. Well.. Raising her head up high, Oasis looked around with a determined look in her eyes. This was her second chance, a chance to get things right, and perfect. She would make everything ten times better, and there would be a fighting force... No one was going to ruin this for her. This was now her life.
Raising herself from her sitting position on the rock, she stood on all fours, high, tall, and proud. Raising her tail and stiffening her legs, and pointed her Grey-washed maw to the lightening sky and opened it to let out a howl, one that rose in rugged, many notes, to a clear, strong note, it rose over the land in harmony, then fell and enveloped her territory in warmth and comfort. There lands, were hers now. The lands of the Mahigan.
